CHICAGO, IL, 15 October, 2026 – Advanced Clinical, a global clinical research organization (CRO) providing full-service clinical development, functional service provider (FSP) solutions and strategic resourcing, has appointed John Cargill as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
In his new role, Cargill will lead Advanced Clinical’s global commercial strategy, focusing on expanding its presence across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new growth opportunities across its integrated service portfolio.
Cargill brings extensive experience in the CRO industry, having held roles spanning clinical operations, proposals, business development and senior leadership. His broad understanding of the drug development lifecycle, combined with his experience in commercial strategy and technology-enabled clinical research, will support Advanced Clinical's ambitions to build on its nearly 30-year history and expand its global reach.
His appointment comes as pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors increasingly seek clinical development partners that combine scientific and operational expertise with flexible delivery models, technological innovation and personalized support.
