Staff Pathologist

OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Staff Pathologist remotely in the United States. The Staff Pathologist will perform diagnostic pathology evaluations and contribute to research and clinical initiatives, including the application of advanced image analysis techniques. This is a highly impactful opportunity to support cancer diagnostics, innovation, and patient outcomes in a flexible remote setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Perform diagnostic pathology evaluations, including cancer diagnosis and case review 
•    Ensure compliance with laboratory standards, medical regulations, and quality requirements 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional medical and scientific teams to review cases and provide expert insights 
•    Support research and clinical trial activities through pathology expertise and interpretation 
•    Contribute to quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency 
•    Participate in tumor identification and annotation activities, including IHC-guided analysis where applicable 
•    Provide input into the development and application of advanced image analysis approaches, including AI-based methodologies 
•    Communicate findings clearly through reports, presentations, and cross-functional discussions 

EXPERIENCE
Board-certified Pathologist (MD) required
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing cancer cases in a clinical or research setting is required
Experience collaborating with medical and research teams required
Experience supporting clinical trials or research initiatives preferred
Experience with AI-based image analysis and biomarker quantification preferred
Experience with IHC-based annotation and tumor identification preferred

EDUCATION
Doctor of Medicine (MD) required
Board Certification in Pathology required

•    Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing priorities 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
•    Schedule: 20–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday during standard business hours 
•    Location: Fully remote (U.S. based; all time zones considered)
