Scientist II

OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Scientist II in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The Scientist will support oncology research initiatives by applying and developing molecular biology methods to validate T-cell targets and advance therapeutic programs. This role will contribute directly to scientific discovery and decision-making, making it an exciting and impactful career opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Apply and develop molecular biology methods to validate T-cell targets in alignment with project goals 
•    Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments with a high level of efficiency and scientific rigor 
•    Analyze experimental data and clearly communicate results to internal stakeholders 
•    Collaborate cross-functionally within the Oncology Research Department to support project advancement and decision-making 
•    Prepare and deliver internal presentations, reports, and contribute to external publications (posters, manuscripts) 
•    Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment 
•    Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records in accordance with SOPs and company policies 
•    Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards 
•    Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to expand technical capabilities and scientific knowledge 

EXPERIENCE
Hands-on experience in cellular and molecular biology research required
Experience with aseptic cell culture and immune cell isolation required
Experience with immunoassays such as ELISA, MSD, or AlphaLISA required
Experience with RT-qPCR and Western blotting required
Experience with multi-color flow cytometry (design, execution, and analysis) preferred
Proficiency with data analysis tools such as GraphPad Prism required

EDUCATION
Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Immunology, Oncology, or a related scientific discipline required
