OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Research Associate II in Tucson, Arizona. The Research Associate will support continuous product monitoring efforts by executing wet lab testing and evaluating reagent stability and performance across the product portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, risk assessment, and compliance within a regulated environment, making it a strong opportunity for early-career scientists.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct laboratory experimentation to support product surveillance, research, development, and manufacturing initiatives
• Execute wet lab testing of reagent products in accordance with established protocols
• Design fit-for-purpose studies and contribute to experimental strategy and planning
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, applying technical expertise and scientific judgment
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses
• Present and discuss experimental results within project teams and department meetings
• Perform document review to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and electronic documentation
• Follow company policies and procedures, including GMP, GLP, and Design Control requirements
• Support continuous monitoring of product performance, identifying risks and stability concerns
• Stay current with scientific literature and industry trends; may participate in professional development activities
• May independently lead experiments or act as a principal investigator on assigned studies
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2–4 years of post-college laboratory experience required
Hands-on experience with wet lab and biological techniques required
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP, GLP) required
Experience with assay execution, protocol development, and report writing preferred
Experience with product testing, stability studies, or quality-focused research preferred
EDUCATION
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline required
