Medical Information Contractor II

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Information Contractor to support the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely medical information. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory adherence while serving as a trusted resource for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all medical, ethical, and legal responsibilities related to product and device information are handled in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards
  • Identify and appropriately escalate product quality complaints, adverse events, and safety information in alignment with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures
  • Receive, document, and respond to written medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain medical response materials, including standard response documents (SRDs), FAQs, and communication templates
  • Serve as a subject matter resource by providing product and process education to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct quality reviews of medical information cases and call documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety and reporting standards
  • Provide feedback, corrections, and retraining support to team members when needed to maintain service quality
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on projects and contribute to the delivery of scientific and technical product information
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of medical information and contact center team members
  • Manage and resolve escalated cases requiring higher-level medical review

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist (PharmD or RPh required)
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology medical information
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to:
    • Medical information
    • Pharmacovigilance (PV) / adverse event (AE) reporting
    • Product quality complaints (PQC)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive mindset and sense of urgency
  • Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
