OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as an Inspector, Quality Control in Tigard, Oregon. The Inspector, Quality Control role will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment. SHIFT
2:30 PM to 11 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform visual inspections using optical microscopes and unaided eye (corrected vision acceptable) from a distance of 12-18 inches.
• Utilize automated/manual equipment for inspections requiring correctable vision, including color discrimination.
• Conduct dimensional inspections with rulers and basic measurement equipment according to inspection instruction documentation.
• Work with production equipment, including small hand tools, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Organize and record dimensional data on paper-based forms.
• Determine disposition of rejects using inspection instruction documentation.
• Multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comply with cleanroom/controlled environment entry, gowning, and room requirements (gown, hairnet, beard cover, non-Latex gloves, no makeup, no candy/gum, etc.).
• Work in an environment with minor exposure to isopropyl alcohol chemical.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product assembly techniques, related process knowledge, and mastery of appropriate skill sets as confirmed by Engineering and/or Production/Quality Assurance supervisory personnel.
• Perform fine motor skills and manual dexterity with both hands (e.g., hold and use cutters, use tweezers, pick up small parts).
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of medical device or related assembly/inspection experience.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma / GED.

• Demonstrated ability to read and understand engineering drawings, inspection instructions using schematics, diagrams, notes, and layouts.
• Demonstrated ability to frequently use small hand tools; demonstrated eye-hand coordination and capability of working with small precision devices.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor within a production team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and basic math skills.
