OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Quality Control Technician III in Saint Joseph, MO. The Job role will be responsible for performing microbiological testing and monitoring to support the quality and regulatory compliance of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The technician ensures that all work is performed in accordance with validated procedures, applicable regulatory guidelines, and company quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform microbiological methods for environmental and utility monitoring within classified cleanroom and controlled environments.
• Initiate, execute, and complete monitoring activities according to validated procedures and established quality/compliance standards.
• Conduct microbial identification, bacterial endotoxin testing (BET), microbial limits testing, and sterility testing.
• Accurately document all results and data clearly and in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with supervisors regarding testing progress, compliance concerns, or scheduling issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment by following site safety KPIs.
• Demonstrate and maintain proper aseptic technique in all appropriate tasks.
• Uphold the company’s Lead principles and contribute positively to a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments, fostering strong teamwork and clear communication.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline from an accredited institution; OR
• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution plus four (4) years of relevant experience; OR
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience.

• Solid knowledge of basic scientific principles and microbiological techniques.
• Good understanding of cleanroom operations and regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, EU, etc.).
• Skilled in aseptic technique and contamination control practices.
• Ability to perform work independently with moderate supervision, using established methods and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; communicates in a clear, concise, and appropriate manner.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation and data recording practices.
• Demonstrates teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and other departments.
• Committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
