Job Title: Operations Manager, Commercial Learning
Location: Remote (Preference for East Coast)
Length of Assignment: 12 months (Potential for extension or permanent position based on business needs and performance)
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager, Commercial Learning to join our team on a contractor basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong project management and operations background, along with experience in the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of the commercial space. This role requires a candidate who is skilled in creating templates, SOPs, managing complex projects, and collaborating cross-functionally with various teams. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to take initiative in leading projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the commercial learning team across therapeutic and market access functions to develop and implement structured processes that support the overall commercial learning function.
  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System (LMS), including content uploading, testing, deployment, and data dissemination.
  • Implement and optimize processes that improve resource utilization, increase efficiencies, and establish future-proof training standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule training activities and events, including new hire training, national and regional meetings, and other ad hoc training-related initiatives.
  • Assist commercial learning team members with ad hoc needs related to their therapeutic area of responsibility.
  • Oversee inputs and updates for the commercial learning master training calendar.
  • Support the Director, Commercial Learning in managing meeting agendas and internal communications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/BA degree required.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of project management experience in Life Sciences (pharmaceutical/biotech) preferred.
    • Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., sales) and/or in-house roles (e.g., training, brand/marketing, commercial operations) is preferred.
  • Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of the commercial space within the pharmaceutical/biotech ecosystem.
    • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Ability to navigate and execute independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
    • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end project performance.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive successful outcomes.
