OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Microbiology Technician in Columbus, Ohio. The Microbiology Technician role will assist a daily team of Technicians by collecting samples, test in-process samples, and finished samples. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.
Two 3rd shift positions available:
Sunday-Wednesday 10pm – 8:30am OR
Wednesday-Saturday 6pm-4:30am
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 3rd SHIFT
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare laboratory media/solutions
• Operate auto clave, PH solutions, plate/enumerate microbes
• Fill out data reports and place results on spreadsheet
• Daily water collecting and testing
• Make and record observations in the laboratory
• Preform simple calculations and communicate data results
• Help in support functions; stocking and distributing supplies, collecting, washing, and storing glassware
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Associate degree with at least 2 years lab experience OR
• Bachelors degree in Microbiology or Food Science straight from college.

• Must be very alert, conscientious.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and have good analytical skills
